DRINK IN THE MUSIC

I combined two photographs to create the composition for this painting. Never a good idea. The composition is unbalanced. There needed to be something to the left of the wine glass, but I couldn't think of anything that fit or was interesting so I put the trumpet case in the background.

I like how the trumpet turned out and I learned a lot about the parts of a trumpet. I did some masking on the trumpet and glass, but mostly layered in yellow and shades of tan and brown to get the metalic look.
