Here's the photograph I'm currently working from. It was taken by the San Francisco Marina. There were a number of people playing chess along this stone wall that contains the inner harbor. I'm pretty close to being finished with this one, but haven't decided how to finish the area above the wall. I don't want to fill in everything leaving no white; but leaving it completely white makes the scene seem to float. We'll see how it turns out.
